“Thank You” vs. “I’m Sorry”
I’m someone who apologizes a lot. Like a lot. I accidentally touch your foot? I’m sorry. I bumped into a wall? I’m sorry, wall. I ask you how you’re doing? I’m sorry. Most of the time when I apologize, it doesn’t really make sense. I notice that I apologize more when I’m having a bad day. The worse I feel about myself that day, the more I apologize, the more I want to go away and hide somewhere and stop bothering everybody. The reality is…I’m probably not botheringΒ every body, maybe someone here and there, but that’s life! People bother people…that does not mean I have to beat myself up…

Howdy, folks! Happy I hope your Tuesday is going super well so far. π Over these past few days, I have been attending an orientation/training for my next internship that starts in September. It makes me very sleepy, and I am often trying to think of resources I can provide you with. Stay tuned for whatever I come up with! Hello, everyone!! Happy (almost) Fourth of July! Independence Day! Woo! My favorite song to listen to during this time of year is “Drunk Americans” by Toby Keith. It’s more about how we are all Americans rather than drinking! π It reminds me that we can all laugh and get along, rather than constantly fight and point out our differences, in our country that has a lot to be proud of.
